The Future Pulls The Past, an interactive carriage for participants to take a journey into the unknown future.
Viewers were encouraged to sit down on cushion made pillows under the relaxing atmosphere of a unique canopy and take a ride on a handcrafted wood carriage of the past. In place of wheels are the gears and cogs that allow this vehicle to travel time. Pulling the carriage is a machine built around an electric sextant with the measuring device angled back to navigate using the rider as a guide. Both the carriage seat and footrest/ottoman have cabinets for storage of objects collected along an adventure. The ottoman slides forward on a track for a more convenient entrance and exit.
